Joe Pettis is a current stand-up comedian and former Senior Class Vice President.

Joe has appeared on Daytime Fighting League on Adult Swim and Six Degrees with Mike Rowe on Discovery+ and can be heard on Doug Loves Movies. He has performed at multiple comedy festivals including the Nashville Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull Comedy Fest, Charleston Comedy Fest, Come and Take It Fest, SweetWater 420 Festival, and more. In 2022, he co-produced the first ever West End Comedy Festival.

As the founder of 1UP Comedy, Joe is well regarded for producing some of Atlanta’s best comedy shows. Rolling Stone named his shows one of the “5 Cool Things to Discover in Atlanta’’. Since 2011, he has produced the longest running brewery show in the world at SweetWater Brewing Company. He hosted the first ever comedy show at 529 Bar and has hosted shows at some of Georgia’s most iconic music venues, including the 40 Watt in Athens, The Earl in Atlanta, and The Wormhole in Savannah.

When not touring, Joe lives on a farm with his wife and their five dogs, two mini-mules, and one horse.
